I have an old Streetpilot i3 and used to load POI's via the POIoader program when I ran Windows. GPI files, you probably know, are what the POI's are converted into before being uploaded. Nowadays I run Linux, so that's out. Yes I could run Wine but I thought this might me a good time to write some code to interface with my self-written GIS program.
