Try Garmin's WebUpdater first. If that doesn't work splashy's source should but it's a little more complicated. There are instuctions in this forum somewhere but I don't have them handy...

Look at my pictures,webupdater does not help.Perry software won't let install.Shows text "No updates are available for your product"

Did you try installing GPSMAP 60CSx software version 4.00 ???
Also using a GARMIN PC Interface cable and not a generic cable.
Have you tried a hard reset?
This is a common problem with this unit.
There are many forums that talk about this problem.

You will have to then take it up with Garmin if you want it fixed.
