Currently the website is not working properly for the download options. Been told it should be fixed soon.

Just a passing note of my experience on a Mac.
On the Mac app store it is also free but that version would not open my Bluechart maps on a USB stick.
The version on the Garmin website does. Perhaps there is a problem with "sandboxing" with the app store version.
YMMV.

Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
