Thread: BaseCamp software version 4.2.5

I just posted this five minutes ago:

I used to have an old version of Basecamp. Today I have downloaded from the official site the last available version (4.2.5).

It seems to run but some maps are blocked (they still run on Mapsource, though).

To solve it, I have downloaded the patch that catymag is proposing (BaseCamp_4.2.5_patched. rar). When I double click the BaseCamp.exe file I have an error message: "The software cannot start because exiv2.dll is missing. Try to reinstall the software to correct this error".

Am I doing something wrong?

The solution is YES. I have found the answer with a quick Google search. The patched exe file is not an installation file. It has just to replace the previous BaseCamp.exe file in the Program file.

I have just done it and it works perfectly.
