Caveat emptor! However, i'm/we're not buying the product so that doesn't apply to me/us does it?
Not sure about consumer legislation in Canada, but if that kind of 'lying by omission' (i.e. misrepresentation by withholding vital information which may influence any potential purchaser's decision to buy) involved an AU company they would get their a*** kicked by the ACCC here and would possibly have to offer a partial or full refund to all buyers and maybe cop a fine as well. Their disclosure that Bluecharts aren't supported while simultaneously not disclosing that NT format isn't supported doesn't mitigate their responsibility in my mind, it just highlights it as a likely deliberate withholding rather than an oversight.
