Turn on nuvi
press 10 sec battery icon to enter hiden menu
connect nuvi to pc
drag 097201000580.rgn to updater.exe
click dot beside usb and click OK
When flashing is over nuvi will conect in mass storage mode
disconet nuvi from pc and turn on normaly.
You now have garmin logo

Hello,
is here anybody who sucesfully updated Garmin logo on nuvi 140? I tried it but nuvi shows me only black page. When I tried to update original logo back to device, it still shows me a black page without a logo. The GIR editor allows me only to change BMP files but this device has PNG's. Is here some way to update? Thanks

I am sorry. When I double-clicked on PNG logo, it allows me to change original PNG for new PNG. I think that the problem was another resolution of new logo file, too. I save it with another resolution. Original has 480*272 and I saved new one on 480*212. Now It works fine. Thanks.

I just compiled a beta of v0.57 that allows to edit/replace symbols in GIR files of type 21. It's a beta so no guarantee it will work but I feel confident about it. Let me know if you are interested in testing the program and I'll post it for you.

Hello,
I was able to install SP 1.49 on Xperia Miro, but it's not fit for resolution I have. I'm tryed almost everything with no success. Now I'm asking you to post here Logo for 480x320, and let me know how to change in reg edit when is different resolution ?
