hi, ok i have got this far but need a bit of help, i downloaded Garmin mobile pc and after several attempts with the sw.unl file i managed to get it unlocked but i had to use the sw.unl file generate from one of catymags posts and that worked first time.
i then downloaded this map.. Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2012.40 as i live in london uk,hope thats the right one.. but this is where i have come to a standstill, i have tried reading verious post about renaming the file but also found posts about the base map,
do i need to install a base map before the Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2012.40 map
if so could some one point out the base map i need as there seem to be quite a few maps out there and not being that up on it i dont want to load something that will cause problems.

Full Europe map is too big for Mobile Pc, it supports .img less than 2gb only.
If you downloaded and installed the file in this thread you must add a basemap in Mobile pc folder.
Read the thread, there are instructions in it
You have to navigate to get to the good.

i assume it supports cyclops speed cameras....trying to figure out the install for the speed cam map now
