i downloaded the latest version of mapsource and the patch but as i do not have the any prior version of mapsource installed, the installation failed.

may i know how to get the installation going?(ie which prior version must i download or is there a way to circumvent the prior version installed check?)

Download Garmin Training Centre from here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] , and install.

You should then be able to install Mapsource.

If you don't need Training Centre, you can then uninstall it.

Hi, I notice that the newer version of mapsource 6.16 up is not compatible with third party map. If i revert back to 6.13 version, everything works fine. Is there a way around this. please help
