It has been stated many times that Android Auto only will work if you get it from Google Play Store.
No GPS mod will give you access to Android Auto.
I have 2 paid copies of Osmand+ and have no problems accessing Android Auto.
Saying that I use it mainly as a hiking GPS app, from time to time in my car.A lie goes around the internet before anyone ever fact checks it if it is true or not. In most cases no one ever checks anything they just accept it as fact.....
