wince ce nextgen help

I have nextgen wince partially working . im a newbie and believe I have a system text issue. The problems are no GPS signal, no 3d (no colour either) buildings, no dem showing on screen and the map seems really distant on screen. Can any one please help as I am really stuck

its for wince 5.0 eincar 7' car dvd/ navigation 1 din unit. NG 9.19.1.466444 (navgear). Has no GPS signal, map distant even if change to close view, no dem view even with the folder in content, colour buildings but not many.

Check GPS antenna cable and connectors, just in case.

If you insist on NG, then try with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], but find all needed lycs (if they exists).

For dem view the dem file must be "Europe_83_CGIAR_Premium_2006.06_090323.dem", if You drive in Europe.

You must have all licenses for maps in use.

NextGen have no problems detecting gps receiver like Primo. With resolution, also.
Version 9.19.1.466444 is very debatable. The big question is whether it is cr*cked at all. If it has all the necessary ux files? Proper skin?
So, best solution is already given.

P.S. I have version 460444. Works OK, only few of files (fjw, fpa, fsp) are not active.

I have a version of primo 2 9.19.1.665137 that works with gps etc but the sound keeps cutting out when navigating a route and has low amount of buildings. Tried to change the NG to same settings for gps and still same issue. So its not the actual cable.

v. 9.19.1.665137 is not a Primo. It is also NextGen.
Whole 19.1. serie have a problems with buildings, btw.
Why don't you listen to advice given in post #6?

not sure which one is best primo or nextgen. just wanting one to work that has all the items working just so cinfusing. all new to this and kinda guessing at what doing so please bear with me. the primo one I have that you say is NG actually doesn't have a next gen type screen the screen is primo 2. so confused

The screen shows what I write to him to show. Anybody can customize iGO to show its name and picture. Take a little time, explore forum, read.

This is thread about Primo 2.x Serie:

Primo First edition starts with 8.5.xxx
Primo 1.2 serie is 9.2.xxx

NextGen starts from 9.18.xxxx

Main and and the biggest difference, and what's important to you as a user, is that Primo serie for WinCE is fully cracked. With few lycs "see" all content.
There is no fully cr*cked version of NG for WinCE, does not exists. Even when you think you've provided it all, all the licenses, some content is inactive.
Functional, for example, Primo don't recognize fjw files, nextgen does. But, NG requires much stronger device. Much. At least with 128MB of RAM, 256 or higher is recommended.

And, as I said, and as it is indicated in my signatures, already discussed many times.
There is no such thing as the best version. What is the best? What is best for me or my device, does not have to be for you.
And what will be best for you, you realize when you learn.

So, stop asking, start reading. A lot
