I have tested since my review in Jan 2025 using Android Auto and it does work pretty good on my Yaris Cross 2025 along with HERE WeGo app which also works with Android Auto.
Both have been on the mark on getting my to my destination.
Both with data on and traffic and without data and no traffic info.
As I pointed out about OSMAND+ is what I use for off road and hiking....;
