i did it as:

use SD ID, not UNIT ID. then as follows:

SD card>garmin>POI>new text documents>paste “your map unlock code”>save as>File Name: D046900C.unl, Save As type: all files, Encoding: ANSI>save

Am I correct? Thanks.
