Has anyone figured out how to edit the Built-in Factory POI's that come with the maps?

I read somewhere that the POI's are imbedded in the Maps and re-loaded thru flash memory, but I'm not sure if that is correct.

So how about it..... anyone able to edit theose Factory POI's ?


I just can't stand those stupid gigantic symbols on my 3490.
