For 3790, do we just extract the .gpi's and place them in x:\POI\ and it'll alert me when I drive near speed camera?

Or do I need to run installer or something?

Just extract and put it in the folder you mentioned.

Why there are 4 types (versions) of the Speed Cameras ?

For different models.
For example, MobileXT doesn't show the tunnel entrance.
Nuvi 765 cannot handle the highway shoulder points

Thanks. Sorry, but I still can't get it.

Why for example you can't use the version "For Nuvi 3790、24X5、2555、2565、2585" on Garmin Mobile XT? I understood that the "tunnel entrances" won't be showed on XT but what is the problem then?
