Iceland, officially the Republic of Iceland , is an island of the North Atlantic Ocean between Greenland, Scotland and Norway, north-west of the Faroe Islands. Traveling through the immense desert where the fire of magma vies cold glaciers therefore offers a unique opportunity to reconstruct, in miniature, the wonderful story of the origins of the world.

Download a free topographic map of Iceland compatible with MapSource, going here
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Run "island_mapsource-install.exe and run MapSource and select" Topo-Island. "
Download the following files and copy the file. "GPI" on the Nuvi or SD Card into the folder "Garmin \ POI"

Does it work with Oregon (without audio)?

these guides are made for Nuvis, StreetPilots and Zumos with mp3 capabilities, I donnow if they can work on an Oregon,
try and let us know

So, tried it on Oregon 400t, but didn't make much sense:
1. Was in French (is there a possibility to get other languages?)
2. Got some (~ 15) POI's with each 2 to 3 pages of written information, which is not very much for size of gpi file. There were only 2 pages of information about Reikjavik, ther should be much more!
3. Could not see any pictures or hear any sound (due to Oregon hardware)

I do not have a Montana yet. But I guess it would be save to say that it is not going to work on a Montana either then? Or is there a chance as the Montana does feature spoken navigation instructions?
