Thread: Garmin 3790T for POI remains Valid

Fault in current fW2.5 should be fixed in next release.

Temporary solution is:
For default Garmin speed cameras and a user defined POI file installed:
To set alerts for both:
Un-tick both Garmin POI and your own POI file. Press save.
Next tick only the Garmin POI, leaving your own un-checked. Press save.

To clear alerts for both:
Un-tick both Garmin POI and your own POI file. Press save.
Next tick both Garmin POI and your own POI file. Press save.

To reset Alert for Garmin POI file only:
Clear both Alerts as for step above.
Tick 'own' POI file. Press save.
On Proximity Points/Alerts screen Under Alerts should show Enabled.

I know that the Cyclops cameras are stored as waypoints in the nuvi devices instead of POI's (Points Of Interest) and doing that way allows to know the orientation of the cameras.

BUT:

After the install, all the cameras are listed in the waypoints folder in my nuvi 3790T.

When I bought my device, the preloaded Cyclops cameras ("...sample.gpi" files) were not visible in the waypoints folder of my nuvi and have worked normally.

Now, a big list of cameras is stored in my waypoints folder. My nuvi 3790T allows 1000 waypoints maximum and the only file called "safety_camera_belgium_luxembourg.gpi" fills completely the waypoints folder. This doesn't look tidy and I can't use my waypoints anymore with such a huge list of cameras.
Furthermore, I really don't need to navigate towards safety cameras !

So my questions are:

1 ) Is it possible to have the updated cameras files in my device without having them as a visible list in the waypoints folder ?

2) Is it possible to store more Cyclops cameras in my device than the number of waypoints allowed ? Because the only file for Belgium/Luxembourg contains more cameras than the limit of POI of my device. So I suppose that all are not shown.
And so, what about the other countries stored in my device ? (I also unlocked cameras for other countries, but they are not visible in my waypoints folder).

Apr�s l'installation, "toutes" les cam�ras sont r�pertori�s dans le dossier waypoints dans mon nuvi 3790T.

Quand j'ai achet� mon appareil, les cam�ras pr�charg� Cyclops (fichiers "... sample.gpi ") n'�taient pas visibles dans le dossier waypoints (= favoris) de mon nuvi et fonctionnaient normalement.

Maintenant, une grande liste de cam�ras est stock�e dans mon dossier waypoints. Mon nuvi 3790T permet un maximum de 1000 waypoints et le seul fichier appel� "safety_camera_belgium_luxembourg.gpi" remplit compl�tement le dossier waypoints. Ceci ne semble pas bien propre et je ne peux plus utiliser mes waypoints avec un tel nombre de cam�ras.
En plus, je n'ai vraiment pas besoin de naviguer en direction des cam�ras de s�curit�!

Donc, mes questions sont les suivantes:

1) Est-il possible d'avoir les fichiers de cam�ras mis � jour dans mon appareil, sans les avoir comme une liste visible dans le dossier waypoints?

2) Est-il possible de stocker plus de cam�ras Cyclops dans mon appareil que le nombre de waypoints autoris�s? Parce que le seul fichier pour la Belgique/Luxembourg contient plus de cam�ras que la limite de POI de mon appareil. Donc je suppose que toutes ne sont pas repr�sent�es.
Et alors, qu'en est-il des autres pays stock�s dans mon appareil? (J'ai aussi d�bloqu� des cam�ras pour d'autres pays, mais elle ne sont pas visibles dans mon dossier waypoints).
