Thread: Garmin Language Guide

Just installed it in 3790 SD card,
Copied the full Garmin directory to my SD card and replaced the .unl file contents with the code from the following
Used :
Software: JM-KG-v1.5+5Digit+ChecksumFix (find it in main thread in Software [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Unit ID: My sd card ID (in order to find it in 3790 press continuously the battery icon in top right corner, it should be in page 3 --press next till you find the data card details)
Select Map Product: Garmin Language Guide

I still can't get this to work on my 765T. I have original card!! It installs correctly but then when you ask it to say a word, you get an annoying beep. It worked prior to firmware V4.00 (i.e. v3.9) but not since. I have tried re-installs etc. Garmin now deny there is an outstanding problem despite originally saying it was a known issue and a fix would be provided. They have offered a good will gesture of refunding the cost of the language guide!

Has anybody got it to work on a 765 - if so how please.

Reinstal TTS voice if you dont have installed Spanish or English,Deutch .... TTS voice,garmin language beep.

I have reinstalled firmware, all voice files and language guide. I still just get the beep!! Any other ideas please?

I have this Nuvi too. So it problem i have too. I do not remember where but i read on another forum the next:
User buy this Language Guide on Garmin. When he installed it prog and as know prog did not work with voice. He wrote to Garmin support and recieved the answer what Garmin know this problem, do not have decision now and in future. As result the man recieved money back...

On my nuvi 1300 language guide work perfect from SD card and voice also work perfect

Nuvi series 12xx,13xx,14xx have new firmware update 5.00
After install language is locked.
For unlock use ID of SD card.
Garmin language guide work only from SD.

How can i calculate map ID for language guide?
On new garmin language guide Map ID 900 or PID 2 is wrong,cant unlock.

There are at old LG in *.ck files.
Give us, please, distributive packet and I find ID...

I have only trial version from nuvi 2360LMT

Full version of language guide is 21Mb trial version is only 720kb we need 21Mb glg from garmin site.Can anybody provide full glg?
