i have a same problem as pedjaman : if i dont fallow instructions, and take a diffrent route program crashes!

I'm new here so please excuse me for any ignorance.

I bought the HTC hero a few weeks back. Had HTC tytn 2 with TomTom loaded on it which was quite simple. I need this navigation software as i do travel to different parts in my country quite often. I tried a few ways to load this Ndrive but it wont seem to work (from the market/from the links here). If somebody could just explain this step-by-step to me, it would be highly appreciated. The steps shown on the first post were simple but are all dead links. Please could somebody post the steps necessary and the links to download the correct:
1. Keygen
2. Map (South Africa)
3. Application
4. (anything else thats needed)

And after this post, I will post the method to install SA Maps and NDrive. (The method will work in any country, but I have put the link for SA maps. If you download any other map it'll work too.

This is how to get SA NDrive & Maps working:
-(1) Download This File: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
-(2) Download This File: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
-(3) Download This File: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
-(4) Download This File: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
-Using Android Market, Search for and download ASTRO File Manager

-Now extract File 1.
-Now in the Folder called NDrive, create the following additional folders:
favourites
itineraries
speedcams
-Now extract File 2, and place it in the NDrive/maps folder
-Place file 4 in the NDrive folder.
-Now copy the NDrive folder to the SD Card.
-Using ASTRO File Manager, locate file 4 in the NDrive folder, and install it.
-Open the NDrive application. It will be in another language. Click the button on the right, then press around until you can find a button which is a cog, then do the following:
Select the cog/gear wheel
Select the second option (icon is a picture of a flag)
Select the first box (language)
Select English.
-Now close the NDrive app, and open it again. Select the SA Map, and click website (Not sms). Then using File 3, determine the serial number and enter it. Now make sure you select register offline, and follow the rest of the instructions in file 3. I haven't tested it yet, but I can see the SA Maps.
