Lightbulb Thank you for the backup and solutions to my problems with the Navigon Seat Portable System

Hello, thank you for the backup. I will tell you my story of updating the navigator.
My car is Seat Ibiza 2014.

The model of my navigator is
    Navigon Seat pid v2
    Version: 7.16.9 (build-314)
    Program: 141114-1302
    Garmin Würzburg GmbH, (c) 2014

and before I updated it, I think the version was something like 7.14 or even lower, don't remember.
First, I tried to update it through the Seat Fresh system on my laptop. The updates went okay and all the drivers were installed including something regarding the Bluetooth system.
Then the navigator restarted a few times, and freezed in the start splash screen (where there is the Seat logo and three moving dots in the lower right corner). I tried to turn it on and off a few times but with no luck.
Then I had to try the NAVIGON Fresh program that had an option for restoring my device. The program downloaded the files and tried to install them, and reported that they can't be installed. So, I was left with a navigator that had all of its contents erased and the Fresh program could not install anything. Later, I found out that the files were downloaded to a temporary roaming folder located (Windows 7) in C:\Users\^^USERNAME^^\AppData\Roaming\Fresh\Temp\NAVIGONFresh_tmp and I could find the files there, connect the navigator via USB and drag and drop the files, tada.

What I actually did next was download this backup package of JOYTURKX. I dragged and dropped the files to my navigator via USB and it started working again. I also downloaded updated maps (2018) from another forum (one good place was [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) and they also started working immediately. Just be sure that all of your map and data files are from the same version and year.

The only problem I noticed was that voice commands were disabled on the navigator (they were working both in navigation and phone book before I did any updates). What I found out today was that the backup package was missing at least three files:
Phoneme_EU.nfs = Responsible for voice control of Navis
PhonemeV3_EU.nfs = Voice control (from MN 7.7.1 or higher)
BasicPhonemeFetcher.nfs = For the voice control in the phone book menu.

I downloaded all of these files from another forum (make sure they are the same version as your maps, both for example Q1 2018), dragged and dropped them to the NAVIGON "map"-folder, and my voice commands were back! Both in the navigation system and the phone book!

Other problems I have had with the device + solutions:

    - The physical "voice command" button on the left side of the steering wheel (where there are buttons for volume control etc.) DOES NOT WORK unless an internal bluetooth system has been installed in your car (this usually costs extra and has to be done by a Seat manufacturer) ---> solution: this button is completely useless and CAN NOT BE USED with the Seat Portable System or the Garmin Navigon Navigator. The voice commands have to be activated through the navigator screen.

    - no "NAV" option found in the MEDIA button menu of my car for streaming music or phone calls via bluetooth with the navigator ---> detach the navigator (all parts!) from the car and connect them back while the motor is running and ignition is on. Make sure they are snapped tight to the car connectors. The NAV option should appear. Sometimes the navigator "resets" itself and the car can't find it for streaming, and if I detach it on purpose, then this has to be done once again.

    - poor voice or bluetooth streaming music quality ---> the navigator is most probably not properly attached to the car connector and/or the connectors are of poor quality. Try to move it a little with your hand so the connectors connect with each other, or you can detach it and connect again.
