Thanks for the upgrade. What is the process - backup, erase, and then copy this upgrade to an empty device. Then populate with maps and POI? Sorry, new to this.

Related question, how do you keep your old favorites? I seem to have lost it, even when I copied all the files from the backup. Any idea?

Yes. Format your device and copy new files to your device with nfs/poi files. You can deleting no need country map files.
