Unlock mio spirit 6900???

as suggested, your last chance is with formatting device flash disk. You have two options when formatting disks in windows. Default is normal (slow), the second one is quick, see the pic below.

so don't tick "quick format" so that flash disk will be slow formatted which has better effect repairing potential anomalies on a flash disk.

Hello Janch!
I formatted the internal SD flash disk of the Spirit with SD Formatter. See photo. The formatting goes to 99% and each time comes the error message.
This is interesting at the beginning of the formatting of the removable disk L: Mio means. After starting the formatting only removable media

At the end of the formatting with the error message FAILED but then again removable disk L (Mio).
All data on the Spirit are available again. Nothing was deleted. Something prevents the formatting. Can this be in the SW of the manufacturer

I believe the Spirit The Spirit6900 can only be formatted with 1KG TNT

. What is currently on the flash disk in the device is on it forever.
I deleted all files by hand. Then formatted with SD Formatt. Then copied new software. She is then seen. OFF and ON and the old files are all back.
Somehow the flash disk is protected. AS ? Or there is a hardware problem.
I have already copied the content of the Spirit bought in Poland (that works) on the device.
Also this software is not there later. You can not delete, format, copy.

You can delete, overwrite and format the flash disk. Nevertheless, after a short time everything is back.
Well, what the hell.
Is there really no way to check the disk?
What I see Disk size 3542 MB on both devices
Disk free: 3150MB (old defect) 3046MB (new with function)
Would have been nice if we had only overlooked a small problem.

I newer saw that problem either and I have a lot of experiences with unlocking Mio and other navigation devices. That's why I'm sure that in this case we are dealing with a hw failure. I'm sure that we didn't overlook anything because this symptoms are not normal for a healthy windows CE device. As I wrote, copying files on a flash disk is a basic process and there shouldn't be any issues or anomalies. I'm from Slovenia

Slovenia is also a very beautiful country. I worked 1970 times 3 weeks in Ljubljana. That was an exchange DDR - Yugoslavia.
Yesterday, we made a little discovery about our topic. I was looking for how to fix flash disk. I found this in the Digital EliteBoard:

This SW has loaded. The result is that now the external card slot is working again. When I connect the Spirit 6900 to PC, L: (Mio) appears with its contents.
But it comes synonymous M: and there is the contents of the memory card in the slot is inside. I have not examined anything yet.

But I also found something else. What do you say as a specialist to this?

OK, im little confused about the situation. So if I understand, now your flash disk is working again and you can copy files back and it stays there? That's a good sign! About your link to unlock menu - yes, that is exactly the same menu as I prepared it for your device acording to the instruction which I gave you. The only difference is that I prepared it for Flash Disk and not for SD, because your device has troubles reading form SD in the first place.
