Thread: Mapmyindia 8.0 with universal enc/dec lic files

Oh! Man you are great!. The BE attached in the thread is much better than the one I had before. Here is what I liked:

1. All the items on the screen are now bigger and much easier to touch while driving.
2. The navigation voices available in Indian languages.
3. The 'Find POI' keyboard has smart button i.e. only letter which are valid are enabled.

I don't have encrypted keys for the 7.0 .hn.cpf so couldn't the hn part. I will try Greece map over the weekend and update the thread.

In the find poi menu, you can simply click on the State button at the side of the search field and choose other sates found in the 'India' and 'Other' sub menus. You can also choose any point on the map and in trip planning set as start, and then any other point and add as destination. And in the route menu choose demonstrate for a simulation.

For languages copy over the language and license file from the uploaded BE (or other MMI package if you have it) to the Mireo PC folder. For example for Hindi copy LanguagePackHindiEn.cpf and LanguagePackHindiEn.cpf1. Then change language in settings. If you copy over LanguagePackIndianEnglish.cpf, LanguagePackIndianEnglish.cpf1, and the Sangeeta cpf and lic files you'll be able to choose that voice in settings too, but it won't work even if you copy over the TTS folder. Because SoundService.exe for desktop Windows is not available to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks alot that language pack thing worked and now I have hindi voice. One more thing ydo you have any idea about sygic fleet and how to get india maps working init? I have sygic fleet v8.3, have downloaded the maps but I can't activate them?

Fleet PC uses Mobile Maps compatible Sygic MMI maps, which are only available till 6.1; you just need to run the keygen with the mlm file. Newer maps are only available in the Sygic Aura/GPS navigation format. As Caty said, please seek help in the Sygic section for it.

thanks guys, One more problem with Mireo v3.1 is that, the map does'nt change its position with the moving cursor. Like if I have travelled 15 Kms on a route, the cursor moves fine but the area shown on the screen remains the same it does'nt moves/changes to the current cursor position. I have to drag the map to the current position of cursor to see where I am currently!

Nope, you're not using it right. How are you setting up the trip?
