Reply With QuoteGenerally, you would add custom POIs to such a Kenwood/Garmin system using POI Loader like this:
- Add the files to a USB storage device such as a thumb drive (X:\Garmin\*.gpi)
- Plug the USB device into the DNX's USB port
- On the screen a prompt should appear, select "Yes" then "Custom POIs" then
"Install"
If that's what you followed, are the POIs you installed searchable?

Kenwood dnx518vdab
Hello
I have a kenwood dnx518 and I have installed various POIs with the poi loader, such as gas stations, speed cameras and traffic cameras. The problem is that it doesn't show them on the map. It also doesn't show them in the points of interest menu. Does anyone know what's going on?

Thank you for your help. It finally worked. The only problem is that the camera icons don't display correctly. Also, do you know how I can install vehicles and voice?

I'm sorry but i don't have access to that or any similar Kenwood unit to check the loading process. Perhaps someone else will post to advise you or the relevant manual has such information, here's the link:
