I use IGO Primo in my Dynavin Radio.
It seems that with the latest IGO update of maps also some data of french speedcams have been canceled.
I recall some pop-up mentioning something about France but I was to fast clicking Ok before reading it.
It probably said something like....that using speedcam datas in France is illegal and death penalty will be executed by Guillotine and therefore this data is excluded from future updates.
I have a safety copy of an older IGO Version on my PC. Can I change the french database back to an older version by extracting the data from my safety copy? And where is it hidden?
Thanks for any input on this..
regards
Joe
French speedcam data has not been deleted, .spc files are found in both the Here and TomTom maps. In France as well as in Switzerland, reporting of fixed speed cameras is prohibited, so you will have a "danger zone" signaled.
You can also use an old .spc file where fixed speed cameras were still reported, but this is always an old situation, I must also advise you that the .spc files, however, are not very reliable because they contain only the speed cameras of the main roads, I found this doing the tests with the Italian ones.
You can always use the SCDB files which are certainly more complete or better still the files from the French site, thanks to cacou13

at the limit you will have to change some TYPE numbers to fit those of Primo
Thanks both for your help..... I will look into it.... ...
If the french data have not been deleted.. I have to look if I changed by mistake something on the setup my radio......as on my last few trips to Nice no warnings popped up.
Driving in the Nice area can be a expensive experience. A while ago I got two speed tickets on the same day, both in tunnels..... one on the motorway for driving 99 km/h instead of 90 km/h = 45€ OK! I accept...
but the other one: in inner city Nice tunnel for driving 53 km/h instead of 50 km/h = 90 € that's robbery
