Default Italy & France : best source for speedcams ?

    Hello all,

Could someone tell me what are the best "speedcam files" for IGO NextGen and for :

FRANCE + ITALY (as of April 2019) ?

I ask this because I checked some cities on SCDB site and was very deceived to see that some ciities in Italy (Perugia for instance) are almost not covered !

I could use SCDB files provided by Cserrobi and Modemakias, but can I trust SCDB ?
Is there a better provider of speedcam list than SCDB as of 2019 ?

Just in case, I'm not interested in "mobile" speedcams that require a data connection
But I'm interested in all other speedcams (fixed, section, red-light, etc ...)

    ;-)

Currently the SCDB Speedcams files are the most complete ones you can find.

I ask ..... that some ciities in Italy (Perugia for instance) are almost not covered !
I checked with Spudigo and the SCDB files are not very different from the ones I use that I take from an Italian site.

The Italian site has the flaw that adds new ones but does not eliminate those that no longer work, and in any case both TomTom and SCDB "tap into" the Italian site to update theirs. For the French ones it is a bit more complicated, they are not found publicly, perhaps even their publication is forbidden, but I believe that some users will be able to get them secretly.
The SCDB files are the most you can have for France.

Just in case, I'm not interested in "mobile" speedcams that require a data connection
With the data connection you can have the traffic information, the weather information, but not the information on the Mobile Cameras, simply SCDB does not contain them, (like many other categories), there are only the categories 1,2,3 and 4.

    Hi

The SCDB files are the most you can have for France
Sorry but I do not agree with that assertion

--> the best french ones are on Radalert forum... standard or EUR+ and they are oriented ( not in SCDB )

    NB: only french bases

Thanks Cserrobi, for your link ... redirecting to a SCDB base you posted recently.
It confirms Birbante words about trusting SCDB ... or BIBUOT words about "radalerte.fr" base for France.

For my concerns (France + Italy +eventually CH), however, I found a SCDB file that seems more interesting ... in one of the threads you started thanks to Modemakias ... (03 APRIL 2019). This is a SCDB file with the 2-3 countries i'm interested in. One can find it here : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] seems more suited to my needs.

Of course, no offense ... ;-)

Thanks Birbante Toscano for the precious confirmation about SCDB ... and ITALIAN SPEEDCAMS trustful databases ... !
But what are the db you use for italy ?

As BIBUOT said, the most trustful database for France seems to come from "radalerte.fr".
Doing a quick check with the program you mentionned, "Spudigo", Radalerte files seem more complete that SCDB ones ... for France ... Of course, i cannot tell the truth ... In other words, I found more alerts on small cities I know with radalerte file than with scdb FILE ... but as everyone knows, more does not mean better ... even when the files "seem" more "uptodate" ....

Any way, thanks Birbante for pointing SCDB files as trustful files ...

By the way, could you let know foreigners what are your italian sources ?

    ;-)

    Merci / Thanks BIBUOT,

I was wondering what was the best dbase for IGO and for France .. Now I know that Radalert files are better, eventually, than SCDB ones ...

This is really a precious information !

    Bonjour / Hello Cacou13,

Thanks for the link given to Birbante.
I had it already, but I did not know if their dbase was better than another one ...

Hey ...You live in France ... ? If radalerte provides the best files, could you provide one that fits into iGO Nextgen with skin Pongo or Arimi ?

Tell us (foreginers/étrangers) about your experience ...

    ;-)
