    Default The xxxhdpi folder

    I noticed that even in the last speedcam.zip the xxxhdpi folder contains the same files as the xxhdpi folder, that is the bmp icons of 120x120 pixels.

    Is the xxxhdpi folder not yet seen by the program?
    Because those icons in proportion should be at least 160x160 pixels......

    Sorry, friend, but I do not follow you.

    Classic Primo, standard version, does not use speedcam.zip.

    In NG, again standard version (without extra UX or skin), I could not find xxxhdpi folder in speedcam.zip, there is only nodpi with .svg files.
    I found xxxhdpi only in NG skin, for example pongo ski, so question should be posted there, depending on skin you are talking about.
    But that information I do not have

    In some standard versions xxhdpi and xxxhdpi are in data.zip, but in all versions they are different.

    I do agree that in pongo's speedcam.zip both folders are same and bitmaps in xxxhdpi should be larger.

    P.S.
    If you are talking about pongo skin, this post will be moved in that thread.

    Hello everyone,

    I'm going to meddle with things that do not concern me.
    When I see screenshots with multiple alerts displayed,
    I think they take a lot of space on the screen, we only see that !
    For me, these alerts are already too big.
    I do not want to start any controversy.
    This is only my personal opinion !

    Hi.....
    Screenshots from SM-G965F - 2960x1440, skin by Pongo and iGO_Israel_9.18.27.687519
    1. In sys.txt, section:
    [rawdisplay]
    dpi=480 ;xxhdpi ≈ 1600x960 pixels
    screen_xy="auto"
    Spoiler: dpi=480
    ea1b90f503d4887c

    2. In sys.txt, section:
    [rawdisplay]
    dpi=640 ;xxxhdpi ≈ 2560x1440 pixels
    screen_xy="auto"
    Spoiler: dpi=640
    91a44f4b033658b4

    3. In sys.txt, section:
    [rawdisplay]
    dpi="auto"
    screen_xy="auto"
    Spoiler: dpi="auto"
    42bb2d640f3f4b8a

    Which indicates, that the program, does not recognize in automatic mode the basic interface xxxhdpi and it must be set manually.
    Regards.....

    Thank you Railroad.

    It would be interesting to see (for me) screenshots of the map, with alerts displayed, with these different settings !

    Hi Alain.....
    Which notifications you are most interested in?
    Say a little more accurately and take screenshots.
    Regards.....

    In this topic, BIRBANTE talks about image size.
    I do not have any hardware to test your different settings.
    It would be interesting for me to have screenshots (view of the map in 3D),
    With the display of a speedcam or a alerts with your different settings.
    If it's too much work, it's not a problem.

    Sorry, I'm using a translator, so my posts may not be very understandable

    I do not have and do not use the "Standard" versions , so I do not know how it works, I barely understand how the versions of the Forum work with the various skins.....

    The fact is that the xxxhdpi folder is used by both Pongo and Arimi, that's why I thought they managed to make this folder work, but seeing that it contains the same files as the xxhdpi folder, I believe that this folder does not work yet .....

    I'm doing my new speedcam.zip with Italian categories, and if the xxxhdpi folder does not work, for QHD devices I will solve with my old system ........

    @Alain57

    Here we speak simply of proportions, an icon of 120x120 pixels on a QHD screen appears too small ......

    The images you criticize they are probably from those users that fill the screen with the menu buttons and also use Branding adding a myriad of POI icons......

    The alarm icons appear a few meters before, but it is with the bmp icons on the route that you see "exactly" where is the speedcam...... If they bother you, you can always replace them with red spots.....

    @railroad

    I know this system to enlarge the view, but in with this way you enlarge the whole screen and not just the icons....

    P.S. Keep on giving "Like" among yourselves even without reason ....

    But.....
    speedwarn0.bmp and speedwarn1.bmp in folder xxxhdpi = 130x4160 pixels

    Edit.....
    @BIRBANTE - There is no conspiracy as you think. These are real screenshots from the iGO, which show the truth!
    About of the "Like´s"...... I can give them to whom I ask! You also

    @ Railroad

    Thank you for your screenshots. That's what I wanted to see!

    @ BIRBANTE

    Everything you tell me, I know it. But thanks anyway.
    My first message in this topic was simply a personal opinion.
    In no way did I criticize who or anything.
    There may be a reason why Pongo uses the same dimensions for the two folders you cite. I do not know !
    Your compatriot Bixo uses 160x160 images for the xxxhdpi folder in his speedcam. But I do not know what resolution he uses.

    All this to say again that "personally" I find these images too big.

    Regarding "Like", this is not the first time you made this remark. It seems to me that I can give them to whoever I want.
    When I feel that the member brings something to the other members, I thank him. If this is not how it works, then you have to explain!

    Moreover, I thank you for your explanations, which everyone certainly did not know !
