I understand what you want and I as a newbie have tried to download the 23TTS file posted several times but have failed the server taking over two hours time out
I only need the WIN CE Igo TTS voice for English language.. because I understand the TTS software shall announce the street names and all conditions traveling with GPSMy GPS has
TTS selection but no software and use a synthesized simple voice announce to yurn left or right and at 300 meters
I would like the street names announced and more road directions information that my older broken GPS using TTS voice did announce traveling South East Asia listening to English female street announcements using GPS
Can you help advise send me directions how to get ENGLISH FEMALE TTS software to announce street names in Thailand / Cambodia / Laos / Vietnam
Ask help to download and install on IGO PRIMO 9.6.13.405512 operating on WINCE ver6 installed june 18,2014 the The GPS is KMDRIVE seven inch listed on AlliExpress web

When you change iGO Primo interface language to English if th map sets display the street names in English, TTS should be able announce street names with English language.
Currently make English TTS voices to announce in other languages i think that's impossible.

It is possible to have a voice announced in different language than what it was made for. The voice must understand the character set of the language you're using. For example, a french voice announcing english language will work because the character sets are similar, what you get is a french accent voice trying to pronounce english. It's not possible to have an english voice pronouncing thailand or chinese because it doesn't understand the character set of those languages. I believe you can get english voice to announce vietnamese because the character set is similar to french. Originally Posted by BANKOF
