Hi All,

I am running iGo Primo (9.6.13.405512) on an older Wince6 device. It all works fine, but I have a problem with TTS. Nuance is installed and I am using the Zervdim voices. All that seems to work OK. The problem is that sometimes the speech is truncated, meaning the the last part of a sentence is not spoken. Like "After 350 meters turn ......". It looks like some time limit blocks TTS for reading the whole sentence. Should I adjust some parameter in sys.txt? Which one?

Don't use TTS. Unballast your package

I understand that. However I think the hardware should be able to handle everything. I am running iGo on a Navigon 70/71 premium device.

Yup
In your case, the problem is of a different nature. The device is not intended for iGO even though it is WinCE based. Drivers are different, they don't behave the same. Launcher and UI also played a big role.
By using shell scripts for unlocking, not all system parameters are functional.
Even the sound subsystem itself can be related to that case.
Etc ...

Maybe you should try another TTS engine.
