I have a solar power system, I have an e-bike, I just don't have the money for an electric car, which is why I had to buy a used gasoline car again.

But since I know how much electricity my solar panels generate—even in winter—I would drive for at least eight months for free. I wouldn't have had to sell my car for a pittance just because valves can break in solid-fuel engines, and a new engine costs a lot of money.

...and once you've actually driven an electric car, you'll think/write about it differently...
