I'm not sure you're going to get any answers to your question, unless a forum member is part of the “NNG” team.
But I'll give you my opinion:
They are not displayed because the coordinates of the roundabouts are not in the “.fda” file.
The coordinates are already present in the “.fbl” files, and the round dots are displayed in the top left-hand corner ( diricons ).
If the coordinates were also in the “.fda” file, you'd have the same information twice!
But as I said, this is just my opinion and I could be wrong ........
