UX " loading " for Luna version

Yes I like to try everything, and sometimes I get lost !! lol, and the last wall24 is good too, I zap between the two!! Yes I can now draw in vector for icons or simple images! After that it takes a lot of time for the structural works!! :-))

Hi dear friends

For driving in city I'm mostly using my small 'Smart'.
Is it possible to get loading UX, without Pongo skin and icon, because I'm 'testing' Luna without any skin?

I have good large image only in JPG format.

If You have some other similar image that is better to convert in SVG format, I would not mind.
As long as it's simple and on black background.

If you are using Luna without Skin you don't need svg images, just have them in png.

The images are located in gpsandmore_generic.zip/ui_nextgen/res/the_dark inside the folders of the various resolutions, the file is called loading.png.
Replace those images with your own respecting the names and dimensions.

Another loading image is also found in the_skin.zip file (same path) but should be overridden by the one in gpsandmore_generic.zip, at most you even change those images.

Here are PNG loading images for 'Smart' to use as described in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ],

All images have little more black space at bottom, just enough for progress bar, and are already in corresponding folders inside RAR archive.
I tested it only in 'gpsandmore_generic.zip' file.

Here are the same files (png) for all resolutions.
The difference is that I started from my vector files which I then converted to png.
Benefits :
- No/less pixelation
- Less weight for files
Example :
Your image (xxhdpi) = 596 KB
The one I propose (xxhdpi) = 64 KB
I haven't tested it, it's up to you............

Why png files? In the original version works the loading zip for latest Pongo Skins.
Test it and replace svg image.

Your images (in total) are about 8.3 times smaller, and they are working correctly at same place as previous.
Progress bar is in correct position, they look great, even if it lasts only about 3 seconds

Hi,

Those who are interested in the " loading_smart.zip ", can download the ux from post 58. I redesigned the logo and updated the ux ! The same goes for screenshots.
