@ costas3850: I was first using the VisualGPS unlock method, and there the (physical) on/off switch was working. But I switched to the unlock method mentioned by saviano, because of the TMC. With his unlock method, the on/off switch on my Mio device was not working anymore. His solution in post #8 is not optimal for me, because I still have to quit primo first and then click the poweroff link.
I found a method (see attachment) which restores the function of the (physical) on/off switch. With this method I can switch off my device while Primo is still running, and switch it on again, and Primo resumes where it was left!
