i use AlpineNavi v9.6.30.462695 from this forum
from here:

so i cant see the main menu and other tools
to power off the program or restart it
so please i need this menu and this like the pictures here

you need a UX folder, or a skin for wince
like :
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

or
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

also read this:

By the way if you encounter a problem with AlpineNavi v9.6.30.462695 (as I suspect you would), you could try this well done copy in this link (just add your maps and activate the skin if you wish).

Hello.
Proven version AlpineNavi iGO_9.6.30.462695 of alpine w987d.
Part no errori.Nin is the keyboard for entering destinations.
I tried it on my original version by replacing the DATA global_cfg and the executable with the version taken from the forum.
The 9.6.30.462695 unmodified version of the same problems.
Used the SYS files of the forum copy

Hello everyone,
I have Apine INE-W970BT the same model is INE-W940E or INE-W940 in other country.
I tried install a new software but I destroyed all, and now my navi is dead. I haven't got input SD card but I have USB connect.
Have you got the orginal version of software to this model (CD recovery)??

You cannot "destroy" device just with other version of software. What did you do exactly? Have you tried to flash navigation or what? What is the current status of it?
Tell us very precisely each individual procedure and condition.

Yes, but I can't enter to Settings → Update becuse program Synctool in my navi doesn't work-button GO! isn't active.

Ok, but still have not described what you and how worked. While I do not know that facts can not give you guidance.

Try with other USB stick, properly formatted with correct version of software.

Just to this model (INEw970BT) can't download navigation software update.

Firmware Update nothing swing.

Most likly your Navi is a wince based so use activesync for windows to access your device and maybe store another copy of the app. in the same root.
