Buddy - read the manual iGO?
Just go to options - quick setup menu (in igo is "customize the Quick Menu) and set the appropriate contents of the menu.
Everything works as it should.
The Local search can be done in 3 ways:
1. Where I am in?
2. Combined search
3. Find Places
To be chosen by the user.
I suggest "to read and understand !!!" manual program.

I know all this!!!!!! When i try to search i get a message "Cannot connect to server". Now as you know everything i assume you know the solution !!!
TMC Works fine!!!
In sys.txt should be like this:
(Does not work without them local search)!
[network]
available=1
[naviextras]
boot_service_address=http://zippy.naviextras.com/services/index/rest/2/boot
[poi]
featured_provider=1

PS. And look in this post [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (thx urbexuk)
PS2.
One more thing:
If you updated the app and have not read the topic Brown Dog uninstall the application and clean phone ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ) - you may have a claim for yourself !!!
Go to the folder "License" and delete the files from there:
"server_configs" and "activation_codes".

Colleague - where you took this sys.txt?
Half of the entries is not necessary !!!
Correct entry:
before:
[naviextras]
boot_service_address="http://zippy.naviextras.com/services/index/rest/2/boot"
[network]
available=1
after:
[network]
available=1
[naviextras]
boot_service_address=http://zippy.naviextras.com/services/index/rest/2/boot
I repeat once again - not until they understand and sequences BIBLE !!! -> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I think this is also not complete.
In my opinion it should look like this:
[network]
available=1
[poi]
provider_filtering=1
featured_provider="netlocalsearch.naviextras.nokia"
[poi.netlocalsearch.naviextras]
services="nokia,google"
