For the third problem ...Ofcourse exist problem but it is rom problem for the phones and the problem is for all skins and ofcourse for Dimka skin...
The problem solved finally for all cases if you go to settings/sound and warnings/TTS Pro and put off the "Read Out System Messages" .

I followed your instruction in post #12; the mod of speedlimit bitmap works but the red background alert banner didn't. I'm using Silver skin and I posted that mod. Did you check to see if that works? If not, why? BTW, I will get back to you on testing your Crystal fix tomorrow. If it works, I will still need to know why it's not working under Silver (unless you want to fix Silver)

I did not have any distance for camera config in my sys.txt; I'm trying to use the skin to do the setting "Distant for all" (see screen shot below). I will test with warn_distances and approach_beep_distances in sys.txt later today.

I said "TTS voice" not working, nothing to do with TTS alert (or TTS Pro). Audio such as ding/tone still works but no TTS voice instruction working. But when switched to dimka, everything works. That is why I don't think it's phone problem but rather a skin problem.

More problems:
1. Why when I click on the speaker icon of "Read Out time of arrival" there is no sound. Function is green and selectable, why no TTS? For all other functions, the TTS test works (when TTS voice is woring)

2. When I pick "Go" for a new route, I get a prompt if I want to delete the route; very annoying.
