I like these very much, but they make Nextgen very slow. Is it possible to update it?

This is awfull. I would like to use it for my WinCE nextgen 800x480 version. But the Icons are huge and Nextgen slows down very very much. Is it possible to work on this version to make it working voor 800x480 version.
If I can do it I will, but I need to know how?
