Same thing happened to me to Archos G8 resolution 1024_768.
In portrait mode does not see skin.
I have to add 1024_720.
Is tehere any skin that your device see in portrait mode ?

Ok, I took the resolution settings from another skin and now I can open it in landscape mode. Now I am not sure though which setting it is that I needed as there are quite a few different resolution settings different.
