Hi there,
As a newbie, I need some help with my nng nextgen navigation running on Hyundai Tucson 2016 multimedia. The original nngnavi.exe shows version 9.18.23.572746. I'm not sure which version of WinCE it runs on but i'm sure it is not 5.0. It is either 6.0 or newer if there is one.(Windows embedded Compact 7.0?)
Just like other original car multimedias it works seamlessly with the car radio, rear camera, bluetooth functions etc. I am able to boot into the windows and take/put files to USB.
I'm an old avic user and in the old times we were able to hack the original ezrider.exe so it could work with all map files regardless of which license file is there. From what i understand from the forum posts, igo nextgen works differently and needs a license for everything. My question is if I download new 9.19 files for WinCE from the forum (ZENEC or AVIC)..
a) Will they work with my multimedia only by replacing the original nngnavi.exe file
b) Even if it works would it be compatible with the rest of the functions (radio, bluetooth, etc) or would I loose the original functionality, resolution etc.
c) Are the ZENEC or AVIC files on the forum license free so I can put my own maps in the future?
d) If not, would I be able to put a map and its original license file to the content directory and still use it? (I think the original basemap and device.nng file would not allow this. Is there a way around?
d) Do I need to do anything with my device.nng files?
Many thanks in advance for any help.
