First of all nuance_ve1 does not work with this version it only works with v9.19.1 460444. You can only get TTS working with nuance_v5 for Loq_7 engines.
Secondly in the root folder did you create the correct folder structure to place your loading.bmp file in? the folder structure you need to create is:
ui_nextgen
- res
-the_dark
- hdpi
loading.bmp
I have posted the modified the_skin_Nextgen_by_pongo_ver9.1_all_in_one for you to try. Make sure you have the above structure created on the root folder of nextgen.

1franka, you have to delete from the_skin ( by pongo ), \ux_nextgen\res\the_dark\Xdpi files : loading.bmp , loading_progressbar.bmp and loading_progressbar_end.bmp
Copy into ux folder, the file below.
Also add in sys.txt :
[loading]
progressbar_x=0
progressbar_y=0

Then, if everythings are OK, using Total Commander, replace .bmp with yours :
320_240 => ldpi
480_272 => mdpi

Hi
Thanks to help given by costas 3850 and De5i, i now display my custom image when loading the program.
I have a query as to its operation whereby, my device is 800x480 and i have to load this size bitmap into "mdpi" and not "hdpi". I also have the resolution set to 800x480 in the "sys.txt" file.
It also takes a long time to load the program, with a 20 second period of inactivity[black screen] before the loading screen appears and the progress bar indexes. Any thoughts on the above points.
The only remaining problem to clear up, is why i cannot get TTS sounds on the speed cameras. All other TTS sounds are working.

Like I said if you post the voice that you are using it needs to be updated for the speedcams to work.

Thanks for your help De5i.
I have installed the modified voice files and they do indeed announce the speed cameras while travelling.
However they do not announce when using the "Test TTS" option in the menu.
Also, i would like to have the warning repeated when approaching the cameras. is that possible.

Hi, i´ve got it working, but it keeps showing me poi, i set them to not apear, but after i close the aplication and start again they apear, all other setings work fine, it seems it can´t save that seting,any idea, thanks.
