I have been testing Nextgen and noticed a problem when you try reset the settings either to factory settings or reset to defaulting settings. Once you have made this selection, the app deletes the save folder (as fas as I can tell) and returns to home screen, the app does not start up again automatically (Like it would do in iGO Primo). If you start the app manually it displays a dialogue saying "loading igo nextgen", after this the dialogue the screen goes blank and the app returns back to home screen. At this point the app will not load up at all it keeps crashing out after the loading dialogue finishes.

I have tried un-installing and re-installing the app and the nextgen keeps crashing at the same point.

Has anyone seen this problem? could this be a bug in the app? please advise how to get around this?

I have been testing this on Asus tablet running Android 5.0

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Hello mate,

Do you delete the "save" folder? And do you wipe the app data?

No I don't delete the save folder I do this from the Nextgen setting menu, it gives you 2 options, "Reset all Setting" or "Factory Reset". if either one is selected the net result I see in the iGO_NextGen folder is the save folder is deleted. (its lucky that I kept a backup copy of the save folder)

And when I did the uninstall the reinstall of the nextgen app, then yes I did delete the app data before uninstalling the app.

    Does this help.

Hi I have tried that as well and it makes no difference, nextgen still crashes as the loading dialogue.

    - Remove all the new added licenses (+ device.nng file) and leave only the 2 licenses of the basic package.
    - Delete save folder.
    - Do all the above suggested till now by other users.
    - Start NextGen.

If needed remove additional content and restart NextGen.

Tried the above and its not working.

I also tried the above, cleared the app data and started NextGen it comes up with installing igo dialogue after this it crashes to the home screen. When I start Nextgen again it brings up the loading dialogue and crashes after that.
