You misunderstood what I said. Added language file? I don't see the changes made to .ui that in-line the text you wanted. This is what I'm talking about (untested)

Update: I had a chance to test the above and it doesn't work, so I removed it. However, I did find the cause of the issue and it looks like it can be fixed

Position settings are under Extra Settings->Linear Compass Settings->...Adjustment
Layer priority is under ...->Stacking Order
