    Hello
    Congestion zone uses TYPE 15.
Here in Brazil, we have TXT files for each TYPE. After connecting the GPS navigator, these TXT will be used to create the SPEEDCAM.SPDB file.
I do not use the .SPC file and I think it is your problem to see the Congestion Zone icon.
In the settings you made in the browser, you will only stop to alert, visual or audio visual, but the icon will appear in the location where the alert point is on the map.
The solution would be to delete all alerts with TYPE 15. But I do not know if I would have to do this in the SPC file.

For now it's impossible ........ at least until someone develops a program that can decrypt .spc files.....

As I previously said, currently the only way not to let the bmp icons appear on the map is to delete them from the speedwarn0 and speedwarn1 files in the folders of the various resolutions.

Thanx BIRBANTE I think you are right, but to be honest I have no idea where they are located.

In the speedcam.zip file, ui_nextgen/res/common, inside the folders hdpi, ldpi, mdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi, xxxhdpi, find the files speedwarn0.bmp and speedwarn1.bmp.

You can't see these bmp files, they are in iGO format, you must use either the Dview program, or iPAQ31 and save them in png. You edit them with an editing program and convert them back to bmp for iGO. To modify the zip file you must use a version of Winrar lower than 4.

I see. But when I open these files with Dview I see a list with all icons so I suppose I cannot edit one of them ?

We are going off topic, before some moderators delete these posts I suggest you open a new discussion where we can talk about these things and where these posts will be moved.

Dview is not a program for editing images, it is a program to convert them.
You cannot open images in the NNG Bitmap format with any editing program, you need to convert them to png or normal bmp format to be able to modify them.
After making the various changes, they must be converted back into the NNG Bitmap format to be used by iGO.
