Why do you think I said "back up what you need"?

Anybody who knows the program well enough knows what to back up from the Save folder (and restore to the newly created Save folder) from one installation to the next. Some optional settings stored in Save can conflict with new skins, data.zip, etc.

Why do you think I said "delete program data"?

Clearing only cache and what you call memory is often not enough. Additionally, in the same place, clear data (stored in the root installation folder) to be sure to flush out any potentially conflicting past settings. This resets the program to "new install" and starts over with language, voice, etc.

It is not always necessary to do any of this, but when things start behaving wrongly or erratically, it's a place to start before changing files, editing things, etc (which could make things worse).

I am getting confused with the updates to Pongo-Skin_29-05 2018 that are being posted.

Are the updates above from Pongo, and what are they for?

Hello,

I use Igo Basar with the newest Pongo skin (29.05.2018). I tried to set the language at the settings / region from standard "german" to "german Titanic" but if i set it then igo stopped.

The next problem is that the speedcam warnings don´t want to work. I set the warnings to display and sound but I only can see the speedcams on the map but igo don´t speek.

I want to set it to tts that it say to me all about the speedcam what i want to hear.

the normal sound (not tts) don´t works too.

Please help how I can set.

before I installed the new skin pongo it has worked with the speedcams. I made all new and but don´t works now.

Who are the insiders?

The version of the skin shown by "Quartzo" is quite clear, easy to find and download.
But, on 02-06-2018, Quartzo posted 2 further updates from Pongo, making the skin on the original post out of date. re-reading this thread many times i can find no other reference to these updates. Please tell me i am wrong, and why.

If you read the / this pongo thread, you will get always the latest news about updates. Sometimes it' not easy to find the correct thread / post about an update or fix, but so you will get always the latest news.

I agree that adding the link for fixes / small updates would be nice in the other (download) thread too.
