Thank for your suggestion. I tried to add the lines to the sys.txt. It did not work. Also tried to add following:
[interface]
mapfontscale=350
Either or the combined did not work.

And what is your device/screen resolution?
Read
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
There are several discussions about res/font size, even a threads
First try with:
[rawdisplay]
dpi=380
base_dpi=280
Be carefull, this values are just an example, looks good on 10" tablet with 1280x800
Resolutions:
1] ldpi (low) ~120dpi
2] mdpi (medium) ~160dpi
3] hdpi (high) ~240dpi
4] xhdpi (extra-high) ~320dpi
5] xxhdpi (extra-extra-high) ~480dpi
6] xxxhdpi (extra-extra-extra-high) ~640dpi
what does it mean???

Thank you for your suggestion. It is "7'' Double 2 DIN GPS Navigation Car Stereo Radio Wifi Bluetooth Android 5.1" with resolution of 1024 x 600
I will soon try your suggestion: change of [Raw Display] dpi in sys.txt.
Update:
Finally solved the problem by addition of a simple line of "dpi=260" to [rawdisplay". Street name font size now looks ok. There still is a minor issue: split screen navigation accounts for almost more than half display screen. It is no problem with default navigation mode.

Well, 1024res is very problematic for most of devices and iGO's (there are a lot of topics about that problem at all world forums...). NextGen has helped a lot and is easier to adjust.
But, maybe you should find the skin which is specifically written to support that res. Or which only works better with it. Or even to find an older version that works better on it.
It can also happen that only one ux makes the problem. Needs a lot of effort and attempt to adjust it.
what does it mean???
Force stop .

did you test with default ux/? the same Problem? then search for Topic 'dpi'
Tried default ux, large street name font size only stayed for 5 seconds after started. Then, automatically back to original small street name font size.
Also searched "dpi" on this forum, but nothing returned.
Thank you for your information.

[OT=Pongo-Skin]
I just saved text in english/german once:
Nextgen: Größenanpassung: (Resizing)

! Smartphones mit Full-HD-Auflösung: und die Richtungspfeile sind damit extrem klein geraten !??

Antwort:
Du kannst die Darstellungen im Cockpit problemlos vergrößern und verkleinern indem Du in der sys.txt unter:
[rawdisplay]
dpi="XXX" ; depending to resolution of your device you must justify this parameter to device
Correspondingly, the font size may also be e.g. Change the street name exactly as below:
[interface]
mapfontscale3dframed="XXX" ;with this entry you can increase-decrease font in frame in 3D
mapfontscale=150 ;with this entry you can increase-decrease font in frame in 2D
(Full HD "150") einfach ausprobieren/just try!
auch hier gilt, füge den Eintrag hinzu wenn er nicht vorhanden sein sollte/again, add the entry if it should not be present
HTH?
