Hi ...
When I navigate I hear TTS messages in a language I do not recognize.
How can I turn off these messages so that I can only hear the TTS language I use and navigate ?

If you use "iGO Nextgen World" please chage to "iGO Nextgen Pal" it can configure more TTS voice.

Do you hear ONLY foreign language, or both foreign and your language?
If ONLY, then choose your Language and Voice in Local setting.
If you hear both, then delete ph files from content/phoneme folder
