Agreed. Why do the needs of a very few outweigh the needs and desires of the many?
Personally I refuse to put up with this nonsense ("you can still do this or that by jumping through some hoops"), and just use an older version of the skin which works just fine. Maybe it's the only version I will ever use.

I have been thinking further about this latest mod.

As it is it can be seen as a deliberate ploy to evade the law. The authorities are not foolish, and they also read the forums. If an alert police officer so decides, and suspect, he could further interrogate your phone/GPS device, and if he discovers this evasion is being used both the driver, and possibly this forum could suffer.

However. a clear instruction to not use cameras in certain countries, with the ability to turn them off in settings, in my view is upholding the law and is perfectly acceptable, only bringing repercussions if you have refused to turn them off as is required.

I would suggest that we do not encourage the deception of local law and remove this facility from all further programs.

With regards to which type of program you are using i think you will find that it is only a case in law if you are profiting from cracked/pirate versions.
Any action taken against persons will be initiated by original writers. Please inform me if i am wrong.

As i understand it any material that breaches the above will be removed by moderators, under the new forum rules.

As the material in question is actively encouraging people to evade the laws, of some countries, i believe that this can be damaging to the forum.

These are, of course, only my views and i seek to maintain this forum in the best possible light.
