First of all this modification is not for announcing camera distance but the announcement of over speed of the road speed. I have viewed the attached code_advanced.lua and this file will not announce over speed in miles it will only announce in km.

What I have highlighted here is that since we now have an updated data.zip which does all this now, then why do we need this file in the skin or even need to modify it for miles?

I am merely helping to make the skin better by removing unnecessary files.

You misunderstand.
I know what you are doing...the overspeed warnings do not work with the pongo modified lua files..but with the standard files, they do..but then you lose the ability to have the distance to a speed camera announced. If you don't care about this, then don't do anything more.
If, however, somebody wants both the miles overspeed to work correctly and have the camera distance announced, then more work is required. That's all I'm suggesting. Personally I don't care what you do or don't do because it all works for me.
