no, this parameter appears nowhere.
This is not a display setting on the map but a search parameter in the database "user.upoi"
I assume this distance as the crow flies compared with my POIs of my favorites: From my current position, it seems that all the POIs located more than 300km are not displayed in the dropdown list.

I have a trip time counter on the guidance screen, just under the cursor, anyone knows how to turn it off ?

Nevermind found the setting to turn it of.
