I currently have installed igo nextgen PAL v9.18.27.719974 with Pongo skin.
I have the here 2022.Q4 maps installed but cannot get the online traffic to work. I know that TMC will not work but i currently have online traffic working on another unit with 2020 maps. I have imported the same sys.txt server settings into this version without success. I have tried to find information on various postings but none seem to work.
I would appreciate any help or pointers you could give to get the online traffic for UK going please.
Thanks all.
Andy

You can't use the sys file of other software (maybe sometimes, but ...)
The original sys file that comes with iGO Pal is used, specifics from the sys file from the Pongo skin are added.
Delete save folder, be sure to use the latest globalcfg, reconfigure the app and try again.
The problems you have should be posted in the appropriate topic - about Pongo skin.

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.
I had no problem with the UK, I tried it on a couple of devices with different versions of NG and immediately got online TMC.
Rather, I would say that it is a mistake in the setup

Attention of all those who have encountered problems with TMC...
It has long been recognized that lyc PEARL Agency NextGen FEU@1404... causes problems with access to TMC services, remove it if there is one, but in order not to lose traffic lights from the map, replace it for example: Pioneer_Primo_AU_14Q2_HM_ExtPOI_3D_TMC_DEM_HNR_TTS_JV_CAR_TL_SPC_4WD_NF_NX290AAU... or any other with traffic lights
that lyc PEARL Agency NextGen FEU@1404... causes problems
No, unfortunately it's not that simple.
It depends on the device and Android version.
I believe it started with Android 11 where the first users reported problems.
I had the issue on Android 13 where traffic and weather stopped working. (For a new installation)
It only helped to use the save folder from another device.
Without this license, the .fsp no longer works on a device with Android 13 (but only on one device)
And the traffic lights are still there...........

And there is no Pioneer_Primo lyc
What you have specified depends on the list of lyc you are using, I talked about the minimum set of 5 of these lyc, they work in Nextgen and Primo:
I am trying to figure out some things about TMC. On my Android 13 phone TMC works, that is not the problem. But I have a few questions. In the folder contents I used to have a "TMC" folder, with *.tmc files in it. As an experiment I completely deleted that folder. TMC still works. I am running iGO World 9.18.27.736653. Is that "TMC" folder a remnant of earlier iGO versions? Second question: in my part of the world BeMobile seems to be the better online source. But traffic info is loaded from 'Here" (NAVTEC?) Any advise?
Yes, you are right about the traffic lights, there is an additional license installed.
But the topic was traffic service, and as you can see from my post, there is not just one solution that works on all devices and Android versions.
Not everyone who can't get it to work is doing something wrong.
I've always managed to do it, one way or another.
Along with removing Pearl lyc, try replacing the service_register_v1.sav file, this file with devices codes, NNG could block devices that appear in the most common APKs, find the largest in size, better 10 kb.
