help Looking to make icons for my POIs in Nextgen.

Some of you might have seen my branding for primo, and now I would like to try it for Nextgen. I have scoured the net, and here, for information how to make my own icons for existing POIs (gas. restaurant, etc) and/or personal icons and POIs and have found little to no information. What I would probably need first is a working branding so I can see the format. What I would also need is something to convert png or bmp to the SVG format in bulk. If I can get anything to work, then I would need to convert hundreds of icons.

I'm trying it on Nextgen_PAL, 9.18.27.719974, skin by Pongo.

    Hello,

It is not possible to convert png or bmp format to svg.
Well, if it's possible, but the result will be very heavy and not very pretty icons !
They must be drawn in vector format ................... good luck!

Bulk conversion is impossible, but conversion one by one can be done, even if as Alain already told you the results are poor.
I started in this way and to have a decent result you have to start from rather large images, the bigger they are the better the conversion quality, although some tweaking should be done anyway.

For the conversion there are online sites or the Vector Magic program, but the best quality is obtained with Adobe Illustrator, which however is not easy to use.

The fact that you have to convert the icons one at a time will make you want to stop but what can console you is that the icons will appear small and many defects you will not notice them.

Ok, so I can at least convert one by one, which isn't the end of the world. Now I just need to find out how to use my own icons.
